About Coyette & The Haywire Band
Coyette & The Haywire Band originate from Yukon, Oklahoma. With their country & southern rock roots, they generate a sound that is downright toe-tappin', get-up-and-dance, in-your-face country!
Coyette grew up in the small rural central Oklahoma communities of Calumet and El Reno. She was raised around music. Her dad and uncles played guitars, and she knew from an early age she wanted to sing. She taught herself to play the guitar and bass guitar, and by the age of 14 she had her own band. Her and her band play across the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, and New Mexico. Her CD can be heard on radio stations from New Mexico to Missouri as well as numerous juke boxes.
